| Well what a weekend. we turned up without a clue on tracks, people, our buggy, etc etc. bloody long trip but well worth it. We finished 3rd outright in outlaw class . But i must say that every competitor there should congrat theirselfs for the support they gave us over the whole weekend. the organisers were fantastic, and the tracks were hard and fast. we will be back for round 3 , in september and once again , thankyou everyone for making our weekend THE MOST FUN COMP WE HAVE EVER SEEN ! Superior All Terrain Challenge
The venue for the event is Landcruiser Mountain Park QLD, all the action taking place behind the expo area. The spectator area covers the both sides of the Superior hills and gulleys, fenced off and vehicle free which makes it safe for the kids. Spectators are free to walk around and watch all four tracks in action. Great food and drinks are always available at The Rock Pit Bar or B.Y.O. The Rock Pit Bar has a permanent stage area for live music and a fenced of fire pit, all in perfect view of the spectacular action. The event is timed with obstacles and penalty points making for some great 4x4 action.Everyone is flat out trying to get the best times and obstacles are hit hard. With all four tracks racing at the same time the action doesn't stop. If there is a vehicle recovery on one track the other tracks continue to race, which means spectators don't have to keep moving to watch the action. |
